      • The language of the agreement should be well understood
      • The parties concerned should be aware of the Quran and hadith.

      • They should not involve goods and services that are heran
      • The parties involved must have reached maturity.

      • The formula- This is the presentation of an offer to a lady which it can be accepted or rejected which can be direct or indirect
      • The contracting parties-This refers to the groom who must satisfy he conditions for marriage eg sound mind
      • The witness- These are the people present during the marriage and should understand the language used.
      • Guardianship-The onesin charge ofgiving permission for the marriage to proceed.
      • Dowry- This is the gift which the man gives to the lady during marriage.
