- AU has a plan of forming its own army / machinery unlike OAU.
- Describe the achievements of the Economic community of West African States (ECOWAS) (10 marks)
- It provided funds which was given to the member states for development
- It provided forum through which member states discussed problems affecting them
- It helped in settling disputes between the member states such as Liberia and Sierra Lion by use of the Ecomog
- It promoted removal of trade barriers among the member states therefore promoting trade.
