    2. What is the local time at Alexandria 30OE when the local time at Malindi 40OE is 12:00 noon? (4mks)
      • Difference in degrees of longitude
        400 – 300=100
        1O is 4 minutes

        Total difference in time
        100 x 4 = 40 minutes
Alexandria is west of malindi, so it is behind in time by 40 minutes
The local time at Alexandria is
        12:00 – 40 minutes
        = 11:20 am.

The median is the middle number
          =70
      3. Use the data above and find the mode. (2mks)
        • The mode is the most occurring.
          =65
