    1. Nutrition – provides living organisms with food nutrients for various life processes.
    2. Excretion – separates and removes waste products of metabolism to avoid poisoning if left to accumulate.

      • The generic name should always start with a capital letter while the specific name should be in a small letters.
      • Both names should be underlined separately or italicized if printed.

    • For very mobile animals, ask your teacher to assist in immobilizing them.
    • Be extra careful when collecting and handling poisonous specimens.
