Aluminium carbonate does not exist. Explain.

Aluminum carbonate (Al₂(CO₃)₃) does not exist as a stable compound under normal conditions because it is highly unstable and rapidly decomposes into its constituent parts, aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) and carbon dioxide (CO₂), when exposed to water or even moist air.
