Vertical shafts r first dug. From the shafts horizontal tunnels are dug to reach the mineral ore. The mineral ore is then busted using explosives to loosen it. It is then transported through the tunnel using a conveyer belt to the  vertical shaft. From there it lifted using a lift to the Earth's surface

A vertical shaft is dug into the ground. From the vertical shaft a horizontal shaft is dug in order to reach the mineral ore. The ore is then fitted with explosives so as to loosen it. The minerals are then loaded in railway trucks. Then they are taken to a crane where they are taken up and loaded onto waiting trucks
