Describe how to prepare a solid sample lead (II) chloride

Starting with Lead II oxide solid describe how to prepare a solid sample of Lead II chloride given the following:-
-sodium chloride solid
-Dilute nitric ( V ) acid
-Distilled water

Add dilute nitric acid to the excess lead || oxide forming lead nitrate add sodium chloride to the lead nitrate filter and then add distilled water filter to get an insoluble lead || chloride
