They have a depression/socket on the side of ileum; which articulates with end of femur to form a ball and socket joint.
They have a hole;
Obturator foramen has a small aperture;
Public symphosis is made of flexible cartilage;
Hard to support upper part of body;
Bones are fused to form firm frame to support body.
