1. Topography- Sleep slope encourages formation of deep fertile due to depositional. Valley bottoms encourages formation of deep fertile.
2. Time - Where soil formation processes takes a short duration the soils are generally immature / where the process has taken a long period of time soils are generally well developed/ mature.
