Suppose air contains 5gm/m3 of water vapour at 22°c. If the same air can hold a maximum of 10gm/m3 at the same temperature, calculate the relative humidity.

=     Absolute humidity               X 100
  Max. moisture the air can hold
1.5gm/m3 X 100%  =50%
       10gm/m3

RH=absolute humidity contained in air÷maximum amount of humidity that can be hold by the same air at the same temperature ×100%

               5÷10×100%=50%

                      ANS=50%✓✓
