Copper can be obtained from the mixture containing copper (II) oxide through a reduction reaction. The mixture is heated in the presence of a reducing agent, such as hydrogen gas, carbon monoxide, or carbon, which reacts with the copper (II) oxide to form copper metal and water. The resulting mixture is then filtered to separate the copper metal from any remaining copper (II) oxide or other impurities. The copper metal can be further purified through various methods such as electrolysis or smelting.
