Read the story aloud.

Kerubo was riding her bicycle fast. She wanted to win the race. Maina had an old bicycle. He was riding slowly. Kerubo was happy she was leading. Suddenly, a dog crossed the path in front of her. Kerubo fell down and cried in pain. She had to crawl to the grass. Her friends helped her to get home. Nobody won the race.
