    • T = MV2/r-mg
      = (0.2 × 52/0.5)- (0.2 ×10) 
      = 10 – 2 = 8N
  2. Position B. 
    • T = MV2/r
      = ((0.2 × 25)/0.5)
      T = 10N
  3. At what point is the string likely to cut. Explain. 
    • At C, because tension is high at 12N
      T = MV2/r+mg
