One afternoon, a big wolf waited in the dark forest for a little girl to come along carrying a basket of food. Finally, the little girl did come along and she was carrying the basket of food. “Are you carrying the basket to your grandmother?” asked the wolf. The little girl answered, “Yes I am.” So the wolf asked the girl where her grandmother lived. When the girl told him he disappeared to the woods. When the little girl opened the door of her grandmother’s house, she noticed there was somebody in bed with a night cap and a night gown.
She realized that it was the wolf, so the little girl took a dagger from her basket and stubbed the wolf dead.

Dear Madam,
RE:TRIP SPONSORSHIP
I am the Drama Club Chairperson, Anestar Boys', Lanet. We recently staged a successful dramatization of Henry Ole Kulet's, Blossoms of the Savannah in our school. I am writing, on behalf of my club, to kindly request for your assistance in sponsoring us to stage this play in other schools within our sub-county.
Madam, we made you our first choice due to your passion in dealing with matters pertaining to and affecting the girl child, especially, FGM. We appreciate and share most of what the Daughters of Eve stand for. As young stars, and with the knowledge we have acquired through school learning, it is our wish to be positive advocates of positive change for our generation.
Blossoms of the Savannah, is a story of two girls who are born and bred in town their entire childhood and teenage life, only to be thrust into a rural wild which is their parents cradle, and where FGM is practiced, and those who oppose it are regarded as pariahs. They are derogatorily referred to as 'Nemangalana' which means, uncircumcised.
In spite of the hard difficulties they go through, they stand out strong, fighting early marriage and female circumcision, and finally go to university. It is not easy as the younger one called Resian is literally 'sold' by her father to a man twice his own age in order to save his family house and business which were funded by this brute, Oloisudori. In an attempt to run away from them, she is lured by a man who had previously rescued her and her sister from the hands of two vagabonds who nearly raped them, with a promise to take her to her role model who was doing exactly what the Daughters of Eve does(NGO); fighting for the rights of girls. He took her to his home with the intention of making him his wife. She fought and finally escaped.
Her elder sister who was the next victim of the evil designs of her father Ole Kaelo and Oloisudori, is not so lucky. She is lured by three village women with the help of her own mother. She is circumcised, but their role model, who had already received Resian, sends her team which succeeds in rescuing her from her abductors after being helped by a young school teacher, who unfortunately, loses his life in the hands of Oloisudori's men. These girls are sponsored by their role model to study at the University.
Madam, the challenges of these girls and the troubles they go through are similar to those modern day Oloisudoris, Ole koelos, and such like brutes take our girls through. It is our resolve to use drama reach as many girls as possible. And this is why we are making this passionate appeal to your great organization.
The school is providing a bus but we were requested to source for a sponsor to finance fuel and other related expenses.
I remain, hoping that we shall get a positive response from your end at your earliest convinient time. Should you consider our prayer early enough, we shall be able to organize ourselves in good time to visit as many schools as possible.
Thanks in advance.
Yours faithfully,
Sign
