      1. The people/authors who wrote the Bible were under the influence of the Holy spirit/ inspired
      2. Through it, God’s character /attribute/nature is revealed
      3. God speaks/communicates to human beings through the Bible /it contains God’s spoken words/God’s messages
      4. Through the Bible, God guides people in their daily lives
      5. It transforms lives of people /source of moral values
      6. Part of the Bible was directly written by God himself i.e. Ten commandments
      7. Prophesies/ promises made in the Bible have been / are being fulfilled
      8. It reveals the actions done by God
      9. It outlines God’s plan of salvation
      10. It remains relevant for all generations (7×1=7marks)

      1. God told Abraham to leave his country Haran / kindred/his father’s house to the land that he would show him

      3. Abraham left the land of Haran as he had been instructed by God/obeyed
      4. Abraham was seventy five years when he was called
      5. He took his wife Sarai ,lot his nephew /all his possessions /his servants and set forth to the land of Canaan
      6. They passed through Canaan to the Shechem
      7. God appeared to Abraham in the land of Canaan /promised to give the land of Canaan to his descendants (NB not Abraham)

      5. Symbols/idols/ images were made to represent each god /goddess
      6. The Canaanite practiced temple prostitution/was part of the worship of gods /goddesses
      7. They offered elaborate human/ animal / crop sacrifices to the gods/ goddesses
      8. Feast/festivals were celebrated in honor of gods/ goddesses
      9. Each god had his/ her own prophet/prophetesses
      10. Each god/goddesses played a specific role in the community (7×1=7marks)

      1. Nehemiah organized for the Mosaic law to be read/interpreted to the people
      2. He led the Jewish in the renewal celebration of the feast of booths shelters
      3. The people fasted/held a national day of confession of their sins/prayed for forgiveness
      4. The covenant was sealed through signing of the Agreement by Nehemiah leaders
      5. He led the people in taking of an oath of obedience to the Mosaic law/contribution towards the maintenance of the temple
      6. Nehemiah re- distributed the inhabitants of Jerusalem /the country side
