- Mary rose and went to the city of Judah.
- Mary entered the house of Zachariah and greeted Elizabeth.
- When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greetings the baby in her womb leaped.
- Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. She exclaimed with a loud cry. “Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb
- Elizabeth wondered why Mary the mother of her Lord had visited her.
- Elizabeth informed Mary that the baby in her womb had leaped for joy in her greetings
- Mary responded to Elizabeth’s remarks in a song of praise known as the magnificat
- Mary stayed with Elizabeth for three months.

- Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary in Nazareth.
- Mary was a young woman who had been engaged to a man named Joseph from the house of David.
- The angel greeted Mary “Hail o favoured one, the Lord is with you”
- Mary was troubled by the greetings/wondered what it could be
- The angel told her not to be afraid since she had found favour with God and she was going to conceive/give birth to a son.
- He would be called Jesus.
- He will be great/will be called the son of the most high
- God will give him the throne of his father David.
- Mary asked the angel how she was going to conceive without a husband.
- The angel told her that she would conceive by power of the Holy Spirit.
- The angel also informed Mary that her kinswoman Elizabeth was six months pregnant.

- Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem
- He met the ten lepers/men who were suffering from leprosy.
- The men shouted at a distance requesting Jesus to heal them.
- Jesus told them to go and show themselves to a priest for examination.
- On their way to the priest, one of them, a Samaritan realized that they had been healed/were clean.
- He came back praising God/thanked Jesus/threw himself at the feet of Jesus and thanked him.
- Jesus wondered why only one, a foreigner/Samaritan came back to thank him/ Jesus asked where the other nine were.
- Jesus told him to rise/go his way for his faith had made him well.
