- Jesus entered Capernaum.
- A centurion had a servant who was dear to him.
- He was sick at the point of death.
- When he heard of Jesus he sent elders of the Jews.
- They came to Jesus and besought him earnestly to heal his servant (he loved their nation and built them a synagogue).
- Jesus went with them.
- When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying he was not worthy to have him under his roof but say a word and the servant will be healed.
- When Jesus heard this he marveled at his faith.
- He told the multitude that he had not found such faith in Israel.
- When those who had been sent went back to the house, they found the servant healed.

- Jesus came to mount olives and sent his disciples ahead to bring a calf which had not been ridden before
- The disciples found a colt and untied it
- The owner of the colt sought to know where the calf was being taken
- The disciples told the owner that the lord needed it
- The disciples brought the colt to Jesus and put their garments on its back
- The people spread their garments on the road where Jesus passed
- The whole crowd of the disciples glorifies and joyfully the in Lord voices for the mighty works they had seen
- The Pharisees in the crowd asked Jesus to silence the disciples
- Jesus answered them that if the disciples kept quiet the stones would cry.
