- Mary entered Zachariah’s house , she greeted Elizabeth
- When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greetings the baby in her womb leaped
- Elizabeth was filled with the holy spirit
- Elizabeth exclaimed with a loud cry
- She Blessed Mary and child in the womb
- Elizabeth wondered why Mary the mother of her Lord had visited her.
- Elizabeth informed Mary that the baby in her womb had leaped for joy when she greeted her.
- Mary responded by singing a praise song to God (magnificent)

- Describe the call of the first disciples of Jesus Lk 5:11 (8 mks)
- Jesus was standing by the shore of Lake Gennesaret as He preached to the people
- He saw two boats without the fishermen
- He entered Simon’s boat and asked them to push it into the water
- He continued teaching people form the boat
- Afterwards He asked Simon to push the boat into the deep water for a catch
- Simon told Jesus that they had been fishing the whole night without success
- But he obeyed Jesus command and let the nets down
- They caught a lot of fish that they asked their partners in the other boat to assist them remove the nets.
- Simon Peter and his partners were astonished at the miraculous catch of fish
- Peter asked Jesus to depart from him for he was a sinner.
- Jesus told Peter not to be afraid for henceforth He was to make them catchers of men
- They brought the boat to the land and left everything and followed Jesus.

- Describe the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem Lk 19:28-40 (8 mks)
- When Jesus came to Mt Olive, he sent two of his disciples ahead to get a colt which had not been used before
- The disciples found the colt sought to know where it was being taken
- The disciples brought the colt to Jesus and put their garments on its back
- They set Jesus on its back
- As Jesus went along on the colt, people spread their garments on the road where he passed
- The whole crowd of disciple’s praised/glorified God joyfully in loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen
- The Pharisees in the crowd asked Jesus to silence the disciples
- Jesus answered them that if the disciples kept quiet the stones would cry out.
- Outline reasons why the disciples of Jesus did not believe that he had resurrected. (6 mks)
